Publishes the Vital Signs Report, a consolidated snapshot of the trends and issues affecting the quality of life in our city and each of the interconnected issue areas is critical to the wellbeing of Toronto and its residents
Canadian Urban Institute
A non-profit applied research organization dedicated to achieving healthy urban development.
United Way Greater Toronto
Research and reports from the largest non-governmental supporter of social services in the region.
Wellesley Institute
The Wellesley Institute works in research and policy to improve health and health equity in the GTA through action on the social determinants of health. Their website has research reports, policy briefs, and other publications.
Toronto Aboriginal Support Services Council
TASSC collectively raises the issues of Aboriginal peoples in the City of Toronto and shares information across organizations. The organization commissioned the Toronto Aboriginal Research Project (TARP) Report, the largest and most comprehensive study ever conducted of Aboriginal peoples in Toronto.
Ontario Human Rights Commission
Offers a range of publications and research on human rights issues. Of particular note is the Interim Report on the Inquiry into Racial Profiling and Racial Discrimination of Black Persons by the Toronto Police Service.
Health Quality Ontario
Their specialized reports take an in-depth look at how the system is performing in a specific health sector, type of care, health topic, or particular population in Ontario.
Higher Education Quality Council of Ontario
HEQCO is an agency of the Government of Ontario that brings evidence-based research to the continued improvement of the postsecondary education system in Ontario. The website has research publications and performance indicators.
Canadian Race Relations Foundation
Surveys and research from the Canadian Race Relations Foundation, a charitable organization which aims to eliminate the racism and racial discrimination.
