The Study Skills e-book collection is provided by the Academic Advising & Career Centre - UTSC and the Centre for Learning Strategy Support at UTSG. Books are available for use by all members of the University of Toronto community.

How to use Study Skills e-books

Selecting a title from the selection will bring you to that title's Book Details page. Here, you can review a description of the title, an overview of its chapters, and information about its availability.

Select Read Online to open the title for reading directly in your web browser.

The ProQuest Ebook Central Reader offers a variety of options for a customized reading experience.

Temporary, time-limited copies of the titles in this collection can be downloaded for use offline. 

To begin, select the Download Book option on either the Book Details page or in the Online Reader.

You will be prompted to log in to or create a free Ebook Central account to start.

Once you are signed in, select the type of device you will use to read the e-book from the list.

You will need Adobe Digital Editions to download ebooks to your laptop or desktop. This free software is different from Adobe Reader. A free Adobe ID is also required to transfer the ebook to another device. It is NOT required to read books in the online reader.Screenshot of the ProQuest Ebook Central interface. Finally, you can select the loan length and download format of the title. Your copy of the title will expire after the number of days indicated by the loan length.
