    World history, roughly since 1450, and with the exclusion of Canada and the United States, which are covered by America History and Life. Index with links to full text where available.
  • America History and Life
    The history of the areas now occupied by Canada and the United States. Index with links to full text where available.
  • JSTOR
    Collection of full text scholarly journals. You can limit your search to history journals only.
  • Project Muse
    Collection of full text scholarly journals.
  • Humanities Abstracts
    Humanities Abstracts brings you abstracts and bibliographic indexing of the most noted scholarly sources in the humanities, as well as numerous lesser-known but important specialized magazines. 
  • Arts & Humanities Citation Index
    Part of Web of Science. The Arts & Humanities Citation Index is is is part of Web of Science a multidisciplinary database, with searchable author abstracts, covering the journal literature of the arts & humanities, social sciences, and sciences. 
  • Summon
    Click the "Articles" tab on the library home page to search Summon. Summon is a major, interdisciplinary database, which allows you to search entire articles for your keywords.

    Select "Subjects A to Z" on the library home page. Then choose a discipline, such as 'History-General' or 'History-by Topic.'Also find Historical Periodicals.

Find Articles

You can use databases to do your research by looking for a number of differnt articles on your topic. 

To find relevant articles and information in a database depends on your ability to construct a search.

Successful searching depends on Boolean Searching (Using And and OR) and Truncation (Word variations).
