LibrarySearch lists all of the resources in the University of Toronto Libraries' collection. You can use it to search for:
To search the catalogue, use the search box on the library homepage.
Don't type out your complete research question. Break down your topic into the most important concepts - they are people, places, time periods, or issues. If you need help, check out the library's help page on choosing good keywords.
Combine your search terms using Boolean operators: AND, OR, and NOT.
You can also click on advanced search for other search options, like subject, author, etc.
Search results from the catalogue are grouped by item type (articles, books, journals, videos & DVDs, etc.). To see the complete list of results for a specific item type, select the type under Format area along the left side of the screen.
The catalogue includes print books and online books (eBooks). To limit results to online books only, check off the box next to Online under the Show Only area along the left side of the screen.
