Support for your research and writing

Research consultation (individual or small group)

You/your group can book an online or in-person research consultation with Hannah or Diane, contact librarians for VIC153 in winter 2025. During a 30-60 minute consultation we can:

  • help you fine tune your research topic (narrow it down to a thesis or research question)
  • suggest appropriate tools to use to find accurate and relevant  supporting research, evidence or information
  • help you enhance your search strategy (identify the most effective search terms)

Simply email the librarian you worked with during the March 7th session:
diane.michaud@utoronto.ca or Hannah: h.tanna@utoronto.ca

  • Describe your question or research topic
  • Include an assignment description if applicable
  • Suggest 3 different days/times when you would like to meet
(please request dates a minimum of 2 days in advance, counting only weekdays, Mon-Fri)
