Need help navigating a research project or using library resources?
Feel free to contact me using your U of T email address at sarah.guay@utoronto.ca with any questions or to schedule an appointment. I'm usually available Monday-Friday between regular business hours; please provide at least 48 hours notice for one-to-one meeting requests.
When scheduling an appointment, please provide a brief overview of your research topic and any research done to date (e.g. where you've looked, any keywords you've tried, pain points encountered, citations to any helpful results found, etc.).
Sample topics I can help you get started with:
I offer both in-person and online research consultations (Teams or Zoom), depending on your schedule and preference.
I wear a CA-N95 respirator mask for all in-person consultations and have BreatheTeq KN95 masks available for use.
Dimmable lighting is available in my library office and can be adjusted to suit your sensory level.
I prepare a shared note-taking document for all consultations that summarize content covered during the meeting.
Consultations can be recorded at your request and include a video file and auto-generated transcript.
If you have any other accommodation needs that I can assist with, feel free to let me know!
If you need immediate help or your librarian is not available, check out our UTSC Library help page for a full list of supports.
