In addition to containing the PEO Application for License, this resource also provides a detailed description of the licensing requirements, fees, and methods of payment required to obtain a Professional Engineer Licence in Ontario.
Applicants may write the Professional Practice Examination (PPE) at any time. However, applicants are encouraged to write the PPE early in the licensing process in order to reduce the time to licensure.
The School of Continuing Studies at The University of Toronto offers a course entitled "Professional Practice Examination (PPE) Preparation Course." The course includes extensive practice writing answers in addition to constructive critiques of written material. The course also examines the legal and ethical issues inherent to the engineering profession.
