Sustainability Management @ UTM

Starting points for research by MScSM students

WHICH STYLE SHOULD I USE?

Choosing which citation style to use for citing your sources depends on which academic field you are writing in.

Sustainability management is considered a social science, and the most popular citation style used in the social sciences is the American Psychological Association style, or APA. Use APA to cite sources in sustainability management unless your professor explicitly asks you to use another style.

Below are some resources to help you:

  • understand why citing your sources is important
  • find resources on proper citation
  • avoid plagiarism

Check out this guide to learn more about citation practices.
