When searching for information on the internet you MUST evaluate the source to determine if it is of academic quality. It should be recent (no older than 2 years) and written by an expert author or organization. The purpose of the information should be clear (is it an ad or a report?) and the bias should be evident (is it trying to be neutral, or is it clearly taking a position?)
For a framework on assessing content quality, see Choosing the best sources.
