Searching for Books Using the Library Catalogue

Many relevant handbooks, dictionaries, and encyclopedias are listed in the box to the right. 

Use the Catalogue Search in the box above or from Engineering & Computer Science Library's homepage  to search for additional books related to mechanical and industrial engineering (or try browsing by subject heading - scroll further down the page).

How to Use Knovel

Knovel is a comprehensive collection of engineering and applied science information.

Knovel has a support centre for technical help, as well as video tutorials for using their search and interactive tools.

You can find eBooks on Knovel by:

  • Browsing by subject area by clicking on the "Browse" button at the top of the homepage.

Narrow your search results to eBooks by selecting "Book Titles" from the menu options on the left-hand navigation bar.

The table of contents for each item indicates which sections are PDFs  and which are interactive online content, such as graphs . Many of the PDF sections can be downloaded by using the settings button  and selecting "Download Section."
