Sign Up
- Register for Zotero at zotero.org
- Install the Jurism stand-alone software from https://juris-m.github.io/release/
- Install the Jurism browser extension. It will identify format of the item (i.e., book, article, case, etc.)
Sync
- After downloading the Jurism stand-alone software, sync Jurism with Zotero:
- Edit menu >> Preferences
- Under the Sync tab, enter your Zotero login credentials
- Zotero is cloud-based and can be accessed from anywhere with an Internet connection
Canadian Guide to Uniform Legal Citation (McGill Guide)
- The McGill Guide is not one of the styles pre-populated in Jurism
- Follow these steps to add the McGill Guide: Edit >> Preferences > Cite (Tab) >> Get Additional Styles
