Finding other journals in a field

  1. Do topic searches in article database(s) that cover your area of interest.
    Look at your search results to see which journals the articles on your topic are coming from.
    The more you search on your topic, the more you will become knowledgeable about journals that cover that topic

  2. Use Ulrichsweb (huge directory of periodicals world-wide) to find out what journals exist in a subject area

Type the title in quotation marks and chose JOURNAL TITLE as the search mode.

Use Ulrichsweb to see if a journal is peer-reviewed.
