Foreign government information

A guide to major print and electronic foreign government information prepared by Sam-chin Li, University of Toronto Libraries.


Statistics for foreign countries can be found from international resources and country resources. 

International resources are statistics collected from various countries by agencies such as United Nations or World Bank. 

Country resources are statistics collected by each individual country's statistical agency. They are generally more detailed and up-to-date than the international resources. However, a country's statistical yearbook may contain only of the language of the country.


Country resources

The Government Publications Collection (5th floor, Robarts) holds print statistical yearbooks for many countries. They are shelved by country under the country codes.
