The research that you will do will also focus on the current world characterized by movement, how do ideas of home and belonging, trauma and nostalgia for other spaces/places manifest themselves in the arts. The nomadic, transnational nature of the 20th and 21st century is considered in its influences and shaping of and by contemporary visual artistic practices in the Tamil diaspora.
