The final paper for this course will be a research argumentative essay that asks you to select a topic and argue in favour of a certain position in relation to a particular issue. Following the guidelines from the Longman textbook and our in-class models, you will organize your ideas as three or four arguments that support your position against opposing arguments.
You will also select a minimum of 3 journalistic, popular, or scholarly sources that help you substantiate your assertions:
