On February 16th, the library is getting a new catalogue. Searching for books and articles through the catalogue will be a whole new experience!
To get the most out of the new catalogue, make sure you sign in before using it!
If you need some help using the new catalogue please visit the Virtual Help Service.
Finding information for your assignments can be hard! Sometimes you have to try many different words or combinations of words to find what you want. Sometimes you have to search using databases you are unfamiliar with. If you are struggling to find information, or have spent more than 10 minutes trying to find a particular piece of information ask the library staff for help! The Engineering & Computer Science Library staff know about your assignment and are happy to help you find the information you need!
Four options for getting help are listed below:
Chat or talk using video with the Engineering & Computer Science Library staff virtually. The staff know about your assignment and are ready to help you find the resources that you need. The desk is open:
12 noon to 5pm seven days a week
7 pm to 9 pm Wednesdays and Sundays
*Note: The service will be closed Monday, February 15th for Family Day and Friday, April 2nd for Good Friday

Email your question to the Engineering & Computer Science Library reference staff at engineering.library@utoronto.ca. Response times are usually within 24 hours. In your email mention that this is a question for "APS112" or "ESP" to help staff answer your question quicker.
This chat is not staffed by engineering librarians but by librarians from all across the University of Toronto. Staff here may be able to help you find some of the information you need but may not be able to assist you will all of your design questions. For the more tricky engineering design questions please use the Virtual Help Desk service or email above.
