Brief Description

A Forum on Changing Policy in Support of new Scholarly Practices

This half day symposium will explore the implications and challenges of new forms of knowledge and practices enabled by digital means. The discussion will center on where policy is and what needs to be transformed, particularly with regard to users’ rights and author's rights in an open knowledge environment.

Students, librarians, faculty members and administrators will provide perspectives on the opportunities afforded by the digital as well as the infrastructural and sustainability requirements to enhance digital scholarship on campus.
