The Desbois collection consists of over 260 works (approximately 600 volumes) from the cabinet de lecture owned by Emma Desbois in Bourdeaux from 1872 to 1911. Some of the volumes were formerly in the cabinet de lecture of Jean-Baptiste Magen. The collection was acquired by Father Joseph Sablé who gave it to the Kelly Library.
