Research & Writing Assistance

Research Assistance

Agatha and Colin are available for individual research consultations. We can guide you through every aspect of researching the author you have chosen, including:

  • finding the author’s biographies, autobiographies, and memoirs
  • locating the writer’s (or the poet’s) archive
  • citing archival sources in written work.

Please contact us if you have any questions or if you would like to schedule an appointment:

  • Agatha Barc: agatha.barc@vicu.utoronto.ca, 416-585-4463
  • Colin Deinhardt: colin.deinhardt@vicu.utoronto.ca, 416-585-4569.

Writing Assistance

The research projects will be part of a publication. Therefore, to ensure that they follow the highest standards of scholarly writing, students are encouraged to book an appointment at the Victoria College Writing Centre, where they can receive individual consultation from a writing instructor:

  • the instructors will help you at any stage of writing your research project
  • they teach students how to develop the ability to plan, organize, write, and revise written work
  • it is best to book your appointment as much in advance as possible.
