You should use sources that are appropriate for your thesis project. There is a lot of information available out there, but not all information is equal. Some resources will be better suited and more appropriate for you to use than others.
You can evaluate the information you find using the CRAAP test to determine if it is appropriate for you to use - and to show that it is good evidence for your arguments.
Currency: The timeliness of the information.
Relevance: The importance of the information for your needs.
Authority: The source of the information.
Accuracy: The reliability, truthfulness and correctness of the content.
Purpose: The reason the information exists.
