Finding newspaper directories

To find newspaper directories in the library catalogue use one of the following strategies:

 

Search by keyword:

1. Start at the University of Toronto Libraries homepage

2. Enter your subject specific keywords along with one or more of the following: directory, newspaper directory, bibliography and press search

 

Search by subject heading:

1. Starting at the Library Catalogue Advanced Search select "subject" from the drop down menu

2. Enter one of the following subject headings: Newspapers--Directories, Press--Directories, Newspapers--Bibliography, Newspapers--Indexes and press search

To limit to a particular location, include the location in the subject heading, ex. American Newspapers--Directories, or German Newspapers--Bibliography
