Support for library research skills development is offered both through self-directed learning modules and four in-person workshops scheduled each Fall. Visit the Library Workshop Calendar to see when the next in-person session will take place. 

Offered by the User Services Department at Robarts Library in-person workshops are open to any current student or University employee. Take any workshop that speaks to you or attend all four to build a set of essential research skills. 

Collectively, workshops focus on the full research process and include: 

  • Finding background information
  • Finding scholarly sources
  • Managing your sources
  • Using your sources effectively
